Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa announces Rs 30 Lakhs to Asiad medallist

Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday announced a reward of Rs 30 lakh to Saurav Ghosal, who won silver medal in the squash men`s singles event at the ongoing 17th Asian Games at Incheon, South Korea. �I wish to convey my heartiest congratulations on behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu on this magnificent achievement,� the CM said in her message to the champion. This is the fourth medal Ghosal has won at the Asian Games, having previously won a singles bronze medal at the 15th Asian Games and singles and team bronze medals at the 16th Asian Games.
