Vandalur Zoo Free Entry Tickets Sold Out for June 21 and 22; No Spot Booking Available

Entry tickets for the renowned Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Vandalur have been fully booked for June 21 and June 22 following an overwhelming response from visitors after the announcement of free admission to zoos across Tamil Nadu.

The free entry initiative was announced as part of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay`s birthday celebrations on June 22. While admission was offered free of cost, visitors were required to obtain online tickets in advance through the zoo`s official booking system.

In an official statement, the zoo administration confirmed that all available tickets for both days have been exhausted. Authorities also clarified that no tickets will be issued at the zoo`s ticket counters on June 21 and June 22, and visitors without pre-booked online tickets will not be permitted to enter the premises.

According to officials, the restrictions have been introduced to manage the expected surge in visitors, prevent overcrowding, and ensure the smooth functioning of visitor facilities and services.

The administration stated that limiting entry to those with advance bookings will help maintain public safety, provide a comfortable experience for visitors, and ensure the well-being of animals housed at the zoo.
