Traffic Changes on TTK Road for Chennai Metro Tunnel Work

Traffic changes have been introduced on TTK Road and the northern part of Sriram Nagar for Chennai Metro Rail tunnel construction work. The changes will be in effect for three months from October 8, 2026.

According to the traffic police, vehicles travelling from Adyar Gate Hotel and Abhiramapuram 4th Street towards Sriram Nagar North Street via TTK Road will face restrictions.

Instead, vehicles can take TTK Road 1st Cross Street to reach their destination.

Similarly, vehicles travelling from Sriram Nagar North Street towards TTK Road will also face restrictions. Such vehicles can instead use North Street and TTK Road 1st Cross Street to reach their destination.
