Southern Railway Alert: Partial Train Cancellations in Tamil Nadu This September

Southern Railway has announced partial train cancellations and route diversions in Tamil Nadu due to engineering works in the Trichy division.

Partial Cancellations:

Trichy – Karaikal DEMU (76820)

Sept 11 & 12: Operates only between Trichy and Thanjavur

Karaikal – Trichy DEMU (76819)

Sept 11 & 12: Operates only between Thanjavur and Trichy

Trichy – Erode Passenger (56809)

Sept 16: Operates only between Trichy and Karur

Mayiladuthurai – Trichy MEMU (16833)

Sept 10 to 15: Cancelled between Mayiladuthurai and Thanjavur only (earlier fully cancelled)

Route Diversion:

Trichy – Palakkad Town Express (16843)

Sept 12: Diverted via Irugur and Podanur
Skips: Singanallur, Peelamedu, Coimbatore North, Coimbatore Jn
