PhonePe UPI 123Pay: UPI Payments Without Internet on Feature Phones

PhonePe has introduced UPI 123Pay, a new service designed to help customers make UPI payments without an internet connection.

The service is aimed at people using feature phones and basic mobile phones, including those without smartphones or reliable internet access. It uses SMS-based technology, allowing users to make digital payments even in areas with limited connectivity.

The service could be particularly useful in rural areas and regions with weak or no 2G internet connectivity, making digital payments more accessible to a wider range of users.
