TNEA 2026 Registrations Cross 2 Lakh for Engineering Admissions
The number of applications for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2026 has crossed the 2 lakh mark for BE, BTech, and BArch courses across Tamil Nadu.
The online application process began on May 3 through the official website TNEA Online Portal: https://www.tneaonline.org. Since the registration started, thousands of students have been applying daily for engineering admissions in Tamil Nadu colleges.
To assist students who do not have internet access, the Tamil Nadu government has set up 110 TNEA Facilitation Centres across the state to help with application registration and counselling support.
According to the latest data, a total of 2,06,586 students have registered so far. Among them, 1,31,595 students have paid the application fee, while 89,397 applicants have uploaded their certificates for verification.
The last date to submit applications is June 2, while original certificates can be uploaded until June 6. Random numbers for applicants will be assigned on June 5, and the TNEA 2026 rank list will be released on June 29.
The increasing number of registrations highlights the growing competition for engineering seats in Tamil Nadu this year.
