Manthan Vidyashram Wins the Chennai Edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, hosted the Chennai edition of TCS InQuizitive 2026, its flagship inter-school quiz program. Following a thrilling day of intense quizzing, Harshith A. and Tarun KD from Manthan Vidyashram emerged as winners of the Chennai edition. Drawing on Chennai`s rich legacy of learning and excellence, students showcased remarkable knowledge, teamwork and analytical thinking to advance to the national semi-finals.

The Chennai edition witnessed participation from 692 teams representing 88 schools, including schools from Puducherry, Madurai, Coimbatore and Kanchipuram. The event was graced by Rajaseeli Reginald, Scientist G, Additional Director (Vehicle Electronics), CVRDE, DRDO as the Chief Guest and Alex Duraisamy, Regional Head, TCS Chennai who represented Tata Consultancy Services on the dais.

Demonstrating the power of AI, this year’s edition of TCS InQuizitive introduced real-time AI-powered analytics, enabling participants to view detailed performance insights after each round and quickly identify areas for improvement.

Open to students from Grades 8 to 12, TCS InQuizitive combines learning with excitement through a dynamic format that spans a diverse range of subjects like education, entertainment, sports, business trends, advertising and social media. With a stronger emphasis on STEM, the quiz also highlighted domains such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, biometrics, and robotics.

Now in its 28th year, the competition has grown into one of India`s most respected inter-school quiz platforms, inspiring generations of students to explore new ideas, broaden their perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The 2026 edition is being held across Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, culminating in the National Finale, where the country`s brightest young quizzers will compete for the coveted title of TCS InQuizitive National Champions 2026.
