Veteran Tamil Actor Rajesh Passes Away at 75
Tamil film actor Rajesh has passed away at the age of 75. Reports suggest that he died due to a health condition related to low blood pressure.
Rajesh made his debut in the film industry with director K. Balachander`s acclaimed film Aval Oru Thodarkathai. He later played his first lead role in the movie Kannipparuvathile. Over the years, he acted in more than 150 films across various languages including Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
Renowned for his versatility, Rajesh carved a niche for himself not only as a silver screen actor but also as a dubbing artist, writer, and television actor. His memorable performances include roles in Andha Ezhu Naatkal, Payanangal Mudivathillai, Sathya, Virumaandi, and Mahanadhi. His last appearance on screen was in the Vijay Sethupathi–Katrina Kaif starrer Merry Christmas.
Beyond his contributions to cinema, Rajesh was also known for his active participation in health awareness programs on social media and had a dedicated following. He often spoke about his love for books and reading.
