Nagercoil–Chennai Special Train Announced for Summer Rush; Check Timings and Stops

To manage the heavy summer travel rush, Southern Railway has announced a special train service between Nagercoil and Chennai Egmore.

The special train (06196) will depart from Nagercoil at 11:45 AM tomorrow and is scheduled to reach Chennai Egmore at 11:55 PM.

The train will halt at several major stations including Tirunelveli, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul and Tiruchirappalli, providing relief for passengers travelling to Chennai.

Southern Railway also stated that the return special train from Chennai Egmore will depart at 8:00 AM.

Passengers are advised to check seat availability and booking status in advance due to increased holiday travel demand.
