Chennai Gold Rate Today: 22K Gold Falls ₹150, Silver Price Drops on May 28, 2026

Gold prices in Chennai witnessed a decline in today’s bullion market trading on May 28, 2026. Both 22-carat and 18-carat gold rates recorded a drop, while silver prices also moved lower in the morning session.

According to the latest Chennai gold rate update, 22-carat gold prices fell by ₹150 per gram and are currently being sold at ₹14,500 per gram.

Similarly, 18-carat gold prices declined by ₹130 per gram and are now trading at ₹12,160 per gram in Chennai jewellery markets.

Silver prices also recorded a decrease of ₹5 per gram and are currently priced at ₹285 per gram.
