Request to stop rise in price of private milk supplies
The President of Tamil Nadu Milk Dealers Employees Welfare Association, Mr. Ponnusamy has requested stoppage of rise in price of milk by private brands. Addressing a press meet today, he said that brands including Jersey, Thirumala, Dodla Heritage, etc have decided to increase milk rate of the range Rs 2 to 5. And they are also likely to raise curd price by Rs 5 per litre. The Tamil Nadu government should intervene and mark an end to this, he added..
