Tamil Nadu Rain Alert: 19 Districts to Receive Rain Till 4 PM Today

Rain is expected in 19 districts of Tamil Nadu, including Chennai and Chengalpattu, until 4 PM today, October 5.

An atmospheric circulation is prevailing over the southeastern Arabian Sea and adjoining Lakshadweep areas at an altitude of around 0.9 km. Another circulation is prevailing over the Kumari Sea and adjoining areas at around 3.1 km altitude.

An atmospheric circulation is also prevailing over the southern coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining areas at an altitude of around 5.8 km to 7.6 km.

Due to these weather conditions, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has stated that rain is likely in Tamil Nadu today.

Accordingly, rain is expected until 4 PM today in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Dindigul, Erode, Kancheepuram, Kanniyakumari, Krishnagiri, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Ramanathapuram, Theni, Nilgiris, Tiruvarur, Tirunelveli, Tirupattur, Tiruvannamalai and Vellore districts.
