Chennai Corporation awarded for e-governance
The Confederation of Indian Industry conferred the Chennai Corporation with an award for their efforts in e-governance. The city corporation had initiated several e-governance facilities like property tax payment, birth and death certificates through its website. Vikram Kapur, corporation commissioner accepted the award.
