Diwali 2026: 10 Vegetables for Just ₹100 – Vetri Special Vegetable Combo Scheme Starts Today

The Tamil Nadu government has launched the Vetri Special Vegetable Combo Scheme ahead of Diwali, offering a package containing 10 types of vegetables for just ₹100.

The special vegetable package will be available across Tamil Nadu through selected cooperative retail outlets until Saturday. In Chennai, the package will also be sold through four mobile vegetable vending vehicles.

What Is Included in the ₹100 Vegetable Combo?

The ₹100 package contains 10 types of vegetables and other kitchen essentials in specified quantities:

The package is designed to help consumers purchase commonly used vegetables at a fixed price during the Diwali season.

Where Can You Buy the ₹100 Vegetable Package?

The special combo will be sold through 218 selected cooperative retail outlets across Tamil Nadu.

In Chennai, consumers can also purchase the package through four mobile vegetable sales vehicles.

One Package Per Person

The Tamil Nadu government has stated that each person will be allowed to purchase only one vegetable package so that more people can benefit from the scheme.

The Cooperation Department has also instructed outlets to carry out sales by taking into account the procurement cost, the government-fixed selling price of ₹100, distribution expenses and the ₹2.50 Cooperative Education Fund.

Scheme Launch in Chennai

Cooperation Minister Gandhiraj is scheduled to launch the s scheme at the Chintamani Supermarket in Park Town, Chennai, on November 5.

The scheme will continue until Saturday, allowing consumers to purchase the special vegetable package during the Diwali period.
