Tamil Nadu Plus-2 Results 2026: Over 16,000 Students Score Full Marks in At Least One Subject
The results of the Tamil Nadu Plus-2 public examinations, conducted across the state from March 2 to March 26, were released today. Around 8 lakh students appeared for the examinations this year.
Along with the overall results, the Directorate of Government Examinations also released details of students who secured centum marks in various subjects.
According to the official data, a total of 16,024 students scored 100 out of 100 in at least one subject. Among them, 1,695 students are from government schools.

- Tamil - 83 students
- English - 21 students
- Physics - 105 students
- Chemistry - 632 students
- Biology - 784 students
- Mathematics - 732 students
- Botany - 31 students
- Zoology - 18 students
- Computer Science - 6,945 students
- Commerce - 683 students
- Accountancy - 1,946 students
- Economics - 440 students
- History - 282 students
- Computer Applications - 2,099 students
- Business Mathematics and Statistics - 463 students
Among all subjects, Computer Science recorded the highest number of centum scorers, with 6,945 students securing full marks, followed by Computer Applications and Accountancy.
Education officials noted that the high number of centum scorers reflects the strong academic performance of students across Tamil Nadu in this year’s Plus-2 examinations.
