Punjab got off to a flying start with aggressive knocks from Priyansh Arya (39 off 11) and Prabhsimran Singh (43), putting early pressure on CSK bowlers.
Earlier, Ayush Mhatre impressed with a brilliant 73 runs, while Ruturaj Gaikwad added 28, helping CSK post a competitive total of 209/5. However, despite late contributions from Shivam Dube and Sarfaraz Khan, CSK fell short.
With this win, Punjab Kings registered their second consecutive victory, while Chennai Super Kings suffered another defeat in the tournament.
