The pioneering network was officially inaugurated by Dr. K.G. Arunraj, Hon`ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu. Eminent scientist Mylswamy Annadurai also participated in the launch event.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. C. Palanivelu, Chairman of GEM Hospital, said:
