Tamil Nadu IPS Transfers: 13 Senior Police Officers Get New Postings

The Tamil Nadu government has transferred 13 senior IPS officers, including police commissioners, DIGs and other senior police officials. 

According to the order, the officers have been given new responsibilities as part of the latest police department reshuffle. 

Key IPS Transfers and New Postings

- K. Joshi Nirmal Kumar, IPS: Transferred from Salem City Police Commissioner to IGP, Modernisation, at the office of the Director General of Police.

- A. G. Babu, IPS: Transferred from Additional Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, and appointed as the new Salem City Police Commissioner.

- Dr. Santosh Hadimani, IPS: Transferred from DIG, Salem Range, and appointed as Joint Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, Greater Chennai Police.

- N. Devarani, IPS: Transferred from DIG, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), and appointed as DIG, Salem Range.

- V. Badri Narayanan, IPS: Transferred from Superintendent of Police, Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Coimbatore, and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar.

- A. C. Karthikeyan, IPS: Transferred from the waiting list and appointed as Superintendent of Police, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB).

- N. Mathivanan, IPS: Transferred from Superintendent of Police, NIB-CID, Chennai, and appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police, St Thomas Mount.

- V. R. Srinivasan, IPS: Transferred from Deputy Commissioner of Police, St Thomas Mount, and appointed as Superintendent of Police, NIB-CID, Chennai.

- K. Stalin, IPS: Transferred from Superintendent of Police, TNUSRB, and appointed as Superintendent of Police, South Zone, CB-CID.

- Dr. R. Stalin, IPS: Transferred from the waiting list and appointed as Superintendent of Police, North Zone, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
