Moderate Rain Likely in 3 Tamil Nadu Districts in the Next 2 Hours: Chennai Meteorological Centre
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has announced that moderate rainfall is likely in three districts of Tamil Nadu over the next two hours (till 10:00 AM).
According to the weather department, a low-level atmospheric circulation is prevailing over the southeast Arabian Sea, off the south Kerala coast. Due to this weather system, rainfall activity has been reported in the Western Ghats districts on Tuesday (February 3).

- Nilgiris
The Chennai Meteorological Centre stated that these districts may experience moderate rainfall, and residents are advised to remain cautious, especially in hilly regions.

Earlier, the weather department had forecast that on Wednesday and Thursday (February 4 and 5), light rain may occur at isolated places over:
- Southern Tamil Nadu
- Delta districts
- Karaikal
