BSNL Chennai Gets New CGM

Mrs. D. Leelavathi, a 1989-batch Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officer, has taken charge as the Chief General Manager (CGM) of BSNL Chennai Telephones Circle from January 2026.
Hailing from Kanyakumari, she completed her B.Tech from Anna University in 1990 and began her career the same year at SAIL, Bangladesh. She later joined the Department of Telecommunications as an ADET and served in various key roles within Chennai Telephones.
With vast experience in administration, technical, and maintenance sectors, she has handled major infrastructure projects as DGM and Senior DGM, and also served as PGM in Puducherry.
She will now lead planning and infrastructure development for BSNL Chennai.
