Rare scenes of Madras from 1942 have been revived using restored film stills from the vintage movie En Manaivi, inspired by historian Sriram’s video. The images were enhanced and colourised to improve clarity and preserve historical details.
The initiative highlights Chennai’s rich heritage and shows how digital restoration can help document the city’s past.
