9 MEMU Trains Cancelled or Partially Cancelled in Chennai Suburban Section Today
The Chennai Railway Division has announced the full cancellation of five MEMU trains and partial cancellation of four trains in the Chennai suburban rail section today (January 27) due to maintenance work.
According to an official statement, track maintenance and technical works are being carried out at Tada and Sullurupeta railway stations on the Chennai Central–Gudur section from 12:50 am to 8:50 am.
Fully Cancelled MEMU Trains
- Moore Market – Sullurupeta
- Sullurupeta – Nellore
- Nellore – Sullurupeta
- Afternoon Moore Market Complex-bound MEMU
- Avadi – Moore Market MEMU
Partially Cancelled / Short-Terminated Trains
- MEMU trains departing Moore Market at 4:15 am and 5:00 am will run only up to Elavur
- MEMU trains from Sullurupeta at 6:45 am and 7:25 am towards Moore Market will be partially operated
- The 7:25 am Sullurupeta–Chennai Beach MEMU will also be partially cancelled
