A Personal Accident and Medical Expense Insurance policy provides financial protection for accidental death, disability, and hospitalisation expenses caused by an accident.

Who Can Be Insured

- Any eligible person seeking accident protection.

- Coverage can be selected from ₹25,000 to ₹1,00,000.

- Policy periods range from 1 to 5 years.

Personal Accident Cover

Compensation may be payable when an accidental bodily injury directly results in:

- Death.

- Loss of both limbs or both eyes.

- Loss of one limb and one eye.

- Loss of one limb or one eye.

- Permanent total or partial disability.

The death or disability must occur within 12 months of the accident.

Medical Expense Cover

Hospitalisation expenses resulting directly from a road accident may be covered up to the sum insured, including:

- Room and boarding charges.

- Nursing expenses.

- Doctor, surgeon, specialist, and anaesthetist fees.

- Blood, oxygen, operation theatre, medicines, and surgical appliances.

- Ambulance charges.

Employment-Related Accident Extension

Medical expenses for accidents occurring during and in the course of employment may also be covered up to the sum insured. This extension is available only when Personal Accident cover is included.

- Claims exceeding the capital sum insured.
