Tamil Nadu SSLC and Class 12 Public Exam Timetable 2027 to Be Released Today

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department is set to release the SSLC, Plus One arrear and Plus Two public examination timetable for 2027 on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. School Education Minister Rajmohan is scheduled to announce the timetable at 12:30 PM.

More than 15 lakh students are expected to appear for the public examinations during the 2026 - 2027 academic year. Students, teachers and parents have been awaiting the announcement of the examination schedule.

Tamil Nadu Public Exam Timetable 2027

The public examination timetable is generally released during the middle of the academic year, often in October. However, the timetable was released later than usual on November 4 in 2025. In 2024, it was announced on October 14.

Considering the Assembly election schedule, the previous academic year`s public examinations were planned and conducted earlier.

SSLC, Plus One and Plus Two Exam Details

The timetable being announced will cover the following examinations scheduled for March and April 2027:

SSLC (Class 10): Public examinations

Plus One (Class 11): Arrear examinations

Plus Two (Class 12): Public examinations

The announcement is expected to provide students with a clearer picture of their preparation schedule and the time available for revision.
