The Tamil Nadu government has announced that a Public Distribution System (PDS) Grievance Redressal Camp will be conducted across Chennai on June 13, 2026, to help ration card holders access various services and resolve grievances related to the public distribution system.

According to the official release, the camp will be held at all 19 Zonal Assistant Commissioner Offices of the Food Supply and Consumer Protection Department in Chennai from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The monthly grievance redressal camps are being organized across Tamil Nadu to ensure that citizens can easily avail themselves of services under the Public Distribution System. During the camp, residents can apply for addition or deletion of family members in ration cards, address changes, mobile number registration or updates, and other ration card-related services.

Special authorization certificates will also be issued to senior citizens and other beneficiaries who are unable to visit fair price shops in person to collect essential commodities.

Members of the public can also submit complaints regarding the functioning of fair price shops and report issues related to goods or services sold in the private market. Officials will take appropriate action to address grievances at the earliest.

As all services will be processed using OTP verification, ration card holders are advised to visit the respective zonal office with their registered mobile phone number.
The Food Supply and Consumer Protection Department has urged eligible family card holders across Chennai to make use of this opportunity and avail the services offered through the grievance redressal camp.
