Tamil Nadu Transfers 8 IAS Officers in Key Administrative Reshuffle
The Tamil Nadu government has announced the transfer of eight IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle. The changes affect key departments including Public Works, Highways, Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Health, Handlooms, and Backward Classes Welfare.
Under the latest order, Shunzhongam Jatak Chiru has been appointed Secretary of the Highways and Minor Ports Department, while Selvaraj will serve as Secretary of the Public Works Department. Sandeep Nanduri has been posted as Secretary of the Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department.
Uma Maheswari has been transferred as Director of Handlooms, while Azhagu Meena has been appointed Chairperson of the Medical Services Recruitment Board. Pradeep Kumar has been named Director of the Backward Classes Welfare Department.
Further, Suresh Kumar has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board, and Chitra Vijayan has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (Revenue and Finance) of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
The IAS reshuffle is expected to strengthen governance and improve administrative efficiency across various departments in Tamil Nadu.
