Chennai Gold Price Rises Again in Evening Trade After Morning Drop
After dropping earlier in the day, gold prices in Chennai have edged up again in the evening, continuing the recent back-and-forth trend in the market.
As per the latest update, 22K gold is now ₹13,250 per gram, up by ₹250, while 18K gold has increased to ₹11,050 per gram, rising by ₹230. Silver has also seen a small increase and is currently priced at ₹250 per gram.
Earlier today, prices had fallen by ₹2,720 per sovereign, following yesterday’s sharp swings where rates moved up and down within hours. The evening rise shows that the market is still unsettled.
Traders say these frequent changes are being driven by global market trends, currency movements, and overall economic conditions. Because of this, many buyers are staying cautious—some are taking advantage of lower prices, while others are waiting for the market to settle.
For now, gold prices continue to fluctuate, and experts expect this trend to continue over the next few days.
