Dental care program for government school students launched in Chennai
In an effort to provide dental care to government school students, the `PROJECT PUNNAGAI` was launched in Chennai. The project was inaugurated by Ministers M. Subramanian and Anbil Mahesh Poiyamozhi. The Smile Project aims to prevent oral diseases among students and raise awareness about dental hygiene.
Under the project, students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will undergo dental check-ups in the first phase. The program seeks to educate students about the importance of maintaining good oral health and provide access to dental care for those who may not have had it before.
