Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026: Subject-Wise Pass Percentage and Centum Details Released
The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has released the Class 10 SSLC Public Examination Results 2026 along with detailed subject-wise pass percentages and centum statistics.
Nearly 9 lakh students appeared for the Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations this year, out of which more than 8.21 lakh students passed the examination.
Subject-Wise Pass Percentage in SSLC 2026
Tamil – 98.43%
English – 99.44%
Mathematics – 97.36%
Science – 98.00%
Social Science – 97.93%
Among all subjects, English recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.44%, while Mathematics recorded 97.36%.
Students Scoring 100/100 Marks
The School Education Department also released the number of students who secured centum marks in various subjects:
Tamil – 34 students
English – 92 students
Mathematics – 3,194 students
Science – 10,476 students
Social Science – 3,336 students
A total of 17,132 students scored 100 marks in at least one subject in the SSLC 2026 examination.
Among them, 2,774 government school students secured centum marks in at least one subject, reflecting improved academic performance in government schools across Tamil Nadu.
The Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026 results showed a strong overall performance by students in both language and science subjects.
