Bengaluru Weather Disruption: 30 Flights Diverted to Chennai Airport

Severe weather conditions in Bengaluru led to major air traffic disruption, with around 30 flights diverted to Chennai for safe landing.
Due to heavy rain and strong winds overnight, flight operations in Bengaluru were affected, forcing several domestic and international flights to change their route.
Flights from cities like Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Patna, Amritsar, Srinagar, Hyderabad, along with international services from Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, and Malaysia, were diverted to Chennai. Domestic flights from Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur were also among those rerouted.
Airport authorities ensured smooth handling of diverted flights, while passengers experienced delays due to the sudden weather impact.
