Low-Pressure Area Likely to Form Over Bay of Bengal on November 2 - Chennai Weather Update

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has forecast that a low-pressure area is likely to develop over the central-east Bay of Bengal on Sunday, November 2. The system, influenced by an upper air circulation near the southern Myanmar coast and north Andaman Sea, could bring light to moderate rainfall to parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal between November 1 and 6.
In Chennai, skies are expected to remain partly cloudy, with temperatures reaching around 95°F (35°C). Meteorologists are closely monitoring the system’s progress as the northeast monsoon begins to strengthen over South India.
