Tamil Nadu Open University Invites Applications for PG Courses 2026 - Check Dates & Details
Tamil Nadu Open University has invited applications for admission to various postgraduate (PG) programs for the upcoming academic session.
The university has announced over 48 vacancies across multiple disciplines including Education (9 seats), Management (6 seats), History, Zoology, Economics, Media Studies, Drama, and Performing Arts.
Eligible candidates can apply for the June session through the official admission process. The last date to submit applications and pay the required fees is May 7, 2026.
The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on May 17, followed by interviews on May 26. The final selection list will be published online on May 30, 2026.
Additionally, full-time research scholars can apply for PhD programs offered across six departments of the university. Candidates meeting the required eligibility criteria will be considered for doctoral admissions.
These programs offer opportunities for candidates to pursue careers as assistant professors in colleges and universities, as well as for career advancement in higher education institutions. The recognition and approval for these courses have been granted by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
