Chennai Beach - Tambaram Suburban Trains Cancelled: Check Dates and Timings

Chennai: Several suburban train services on the Chennai Beach–Tambaram section will be cancelled on select days from September 26 to October 4 as Southern Railway carries out maintenance work at Guindy railway station.

According to the Chennai Division of Southern Railway, the maintenance work will be undertaken between 12:15 am and 2:45 am during this period.

Chennai Beach–Tambaram Train Cancelled

The Chennai Beach–Tambaram electric multiple unit (EMU) train scheduled to depart at 11:59 pm will remain cancelled from Saturday, September 26, to October 3.

Passengers travelling late at night on the Chennai Beach–Tambaram route are advised to check the latest train timings and cancellation details before starting their journey.

Tambaram–Chennai Beach Trains Cancelled

The Tambaram–Chennai Beach electric train scheduled to depart at 8:45 pm will be cancelled on the following dates:

- September 26

- September 28

- September 29

- September 30

- October 1

- October 2

- October 3

In addition, the Tambaram–Chennai Beach electric train scheduled to depart at 11:40 pm will be cancelled on Sunday, September 27.

Maintenance Work at Guindy Station

The temporary cancellations have been announced to facilitate maintenance work at Guindy station during the late-night hours.

Southern Railway has advised suburban train passengers to take note of the revised services and plan their travel accordingly.
