On World Senior Citizens’ Day, Over 2,000 Seniors Celebrate Positive Ageing Through Serene Communities’ Tarang Utsav 2026

Serene Communities by Columbia Pacific (Brand of Lifebridge Group), one of India`s leading senior living brands, concluded the second edition of Tarang Utsav, its annual inter-community competition celebrating positive ageing through active participation, creativity, and friendly camaraderie.

Tarang Utsav 2026 which was started on 9 July 2026, brought together over 2,700 residents across it Communities located in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kanchipuram and Puducherry. Over several weeks, participants engaged in a diverse array of virtual competitions spanning music, dance, photography, painting, literary pursuits, indoor games, and sports. The vibrant festival culminated in a grand finale at Serene Amara, held to celebrate World Senior Citizens’ Day.

Mr Prakash Urs, renowned artiste, actor and inventor known for his work in Prithvi, graced the occasion and commended the participants for their enthusiasm, energy and creative spirit. Alongside the leadership team of Serene Communities, Mr Urs felicitated the winners across various competitive categories, presenting awards to honour their outstanding talents, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the festival.
