Nation Pays Tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on His 11th Death Anniversary

The nation is remembering Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India and renowned scientist, on his 11th death anniversary today.

Fondly known as the "Missile Man of India" and the "People`s President," Dr. Kalam made immense contributions to India`s space and missile programmes and inspired millions through his vision, humility, and dedication to education. He passed away on July 27, 2015, while delivering a lecture at IIM Shillong.
