Dengue Cases Rise in Tamil Nadu: 17,649 Cases Reported So Far

Dengue cases continue to remain a concern in Tamil Nadu, with the number of reported infections increasing in recent days. So far, 17,649 people have been affected by dengue in the state, while 9 deaths have been reported due to the infection.

The daily number of dengue cases had previously remained at around 200 cases. However, the situation has shown an increase, with the number of cases reported in a single day crossing 301 yesterday.

The rise in daily infections has drawn attention to the need for continued preventive measures, particularly in areas where mosquito breeding is common.

People are advised to keep their surroundings clean, avoid stagnant water and take steps to prevent mosquito breeding. Anyone experiencing symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, body pain, nausea or skin rashes should seek medical advice promptly.
