Tamil Nadu HR&CE Department Revises Transfer Orders for Six Joint Commissioners

The Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department has revised the transfer and posting orders of six joint commissioners within six days of issuing the original proceedings. The latest changes cancel certain earlier appointments and assign revised postings to the officers.

The revised proceedings were issued by HR&CE Secretary V. Rajaraman on October 29, referring to the department`s October 23 transfer order and a communication from HR&CE Commissioner T. G. Vinay dated October 27. The changes were made on administrative grounds, according to the order.

Revised Postings of Six Joint Commissioners

Under the revised arrangement, the six officers have been assigned the following postings:

K. Ramu - Chennai Division-1, transferred from Thiruverkadu Devi Karumariamman Temple

K. Renugadevi - Thiruverkadu Devi Karumariamman Temple, transferred from Madurai

K. Ramani - Joint Commissioner (Verification), HR&CE headquarters, transferred from Chennai Division-3

P. Anitha - Chennai Division-3, transferred from Karaikudi

P. Vijaya - Tiruvannamalai, transferred from Chennai Division-1

C. Kumaradurai - Karaikudi, transferred from HR&CE headquarters

The revised order also cancels specific appointments made under the earlier proceedings to accommodate the new postings.

Administrative Reversal Within Six Days

The transfer revisions represent an unusual administrative reversal, with the department modifying the postings of six senior officers less than a week after issuing the original order.

Departmental sources said the officers had not assumed charge at their originally allotted stations. However, the government proceedings do not cite non-joining as the reason for the revisions.

The latest changes are part of the department`s administrative restructuring of joint commissioner-level postings across Tamil Nadu.
