Important news!! Recruitment of Regional Officers at SBI!!

The leading public sector bank SBI or State Bank of India is making sensational news now!!

The latest news is that SBI has issued a notification for the recruitment of 2964 Regional Officers posts. It is learnt that applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates by 29^th of May 2025.

Work or job: Circle based officers.

Number of vacancies:

There are 2964 vacancies (as many as 120 vacancies for TN and Puducherry).

Salary details:

An amount of Rs 48480 per month would be paid as salary for this post in State Bank of India.

Eligibility criteria details:

Point is that those who have completed a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university or educational institution or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central government including a combined dual degree. Other candidates who have completed engineering, medicine, chartered accountancy or CA and accountancy are also eligible to apply for this import post in SBI.

Work experience details:

Those persons applying for the post of regional officers must have atleast 2 years of experience in a commercial bank or regional rural bank. They must be able to speak and write in the local language.

Age limit details:

As on 30/4/2025, the eligible candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age. As per the government rules, age relaxation would be provided for these candidates.

Selection procedure:

The selection would be based on an online written test and an interview.

Various examination centres:

Exam centres would take place in places like Chennai, Kovai, Erode, Cuddalore, Madurai, Karur, Namakkal, Trichy, Salem, Thanjavur, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Nagercoil and Virudhunagar etc.

Details about application fees etc:

It must be noted that those candidates who belong to SC.ST and differently able etc need not pay any application fee. Those belonging to other categories must pay a fee amount of Rs 750. Fees could be paid online.
