Passengers travelling on Chennai`s suburban railway network are advised to take note of changes in late-night EMU train services today (June 23).
According to the latest railway announcement, three electric train services scheduled to operate between Chennai Beach and Tambaram have been cancelled. The cancelled services were scheduled to depart from Chennai Beach at 11:20 PM, 11:40 PM, and 11:59 PM.
In addition, two EMU services originating from Guduvancheri and bound for Chennai Beach will be short-terminated due to operational reasons. The trains scheduled to depart Guduvancheri at 9:40 PM and 10:15 PM will operate only up to Tambaram and will not continue to Chennai Beach.
Commuters planning late-night travel are advised to make alternate travel arrangements and check the latest updates before starting their journey. The temporary changes may affect passengers travelling between Chennai Beach, Tambaram, Guduvancheri, and intermediate suburban stations.
