Tamil Nadu Weatherman Questions Sun News Headline on His Interview

Weather enthusiast Pradeep John, popularly known as Tamil Nadu Weatherman, has questioned the headline used by Sun News Tamil to promote his interview on social media.

The Sun News post featured a thumbnail carrying the Tamil headline, “150 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு சென்னைக்கு காத்திருக்கும் ஆபத்து?”—meaning, “Danger awaiting Chennai after 150 years?” The promotional graphic also referenced “1877” and “Super El Niño.”

In the screenshot of the post, a comment from the verified Tamil Nadu Weatherman account reads, “Goyala heading veikkaranga paaru”—a colloquial expression conveying irritation at the headline chosen.
