Tamil Nadu Rain Alert: Heavy Rain Likely on November 2 and 3

A new low-pressure area has formed over the South Andaman Sea, according to the weather update provided in the report. The system is expected to move west-northwestwards and may intensify into a well-marked low-pressure area, followed by a depression over the next two days.

Due to this weather system, several districts of Tamil Nadu may receive rainfall in the coming days.

Heavy Rain Alert for Nilgiris and Coimbatore

On November 2, heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in the Nilgiris and Coimbatore districts. On November 3, isolated heavy rain is expected in the Nilgiris district. Moderate rainfall may also occur in parts of the Western Ghats region and isolated areas of northern Tamil Nadu.

Rain Forecast for November 1

On November 1, moderate rainfall is likely in northern coastal Tamil Nadu, districts bordering the Western Ghats, Tiruchirappalli, Namakkal, Salem, Erode and Karur. Puducherry and Karaikal may also receive moderate rain.

Chennai Weather Forecast

Chennai is expected to experience partly cloudy skies today and tomorrow. The maximum temperature may range between 35°C and 36°C, according to the report.
