Rolls-Royce Opens New Luxury Car Showroom in Chennai’s Meenambakkam

The new showroom features a Bespoke Commissioning Atelier, offering customers thousands of colour choices and personalised options to customise their luxury cars.

Rolls-Royce, the globally renowned luxury automobile manufacturer, has opened a new showroom in Meenambakkam, Chennai, expanding its presence in India’s super-luxury car market.

The showroom was inaugurated by Julian Jenkins, Director of Brand and Sales at Rolls-Royce. Speaking at the event, Jenkins highlighted the brand’s distinctive position in the global super-luxury automobile segment over its 122-year history.

Bespoke Customisation Takes Centre Stage

A key feature of the new Chennai showroom is its dedicated Bespoke Commissioning Atelier, where customers can personalise their vehicles by selecting exterior colours, interior finishes and other individual features.

Rolls-Royce offers customers a palette of 44,000 colour options, allowing buyers to create vehicles that reflect their personal preferences and design choices.

The facility is designed to provide customers with a personalised experience, bringing the brand’s bespoke craftsmanship and customisation services closer to luxury car buyers in Chennai.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Receives Strong Response

The company’s all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre, introduced in 2024, has reportedly received an encouraging response from customers and has become the brand’s second best-selling model, according to information shared at the event.

The model represents the company’s entry into the all-electric super-luxury car segment while retaining its emphasis on bespoke design and premium craftsmanship.

Ghost Series II India Launch Expected in November

Rolls-Royce also announced that the Ghost Series II is scheduled to launch in India in November 2026. The upcoming launch is expected to add to the company’s luxury vehicle portfolio in the Indian market.

The announcement adds to the developments surrounding the brand’s expansion and customer engagement in India.

Senior Executives Attend Showroom Inauguration

The inauguration was attended by Vasanthi Boopathy, principal dealer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Chennai; Kenny Aulia, Regional General Manager for Asia-Pacific; and Venkatesh, Chairman of the KUN Group, among others.

With its new Meenambakkam showroom, Rolls-Royce aims to offer Chennai customers a dedicated space to explore its luxury vehicles and experience its personalised commissioning services.

The opening further highlights the importance of bespoke craftsmanship, individual design preferences and premium customer experiences in the super-luxury automobile market.
