TNPSC Group 1 Recruitment: CM Vijay Hands Over Appointment Orders to 78 Candidates

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay handed over appointment orders to 78 candidates selected for various Group 1 posts through the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Wednesday.

The appointment orders were presented at an official function held at the Secretariat, marking the induction of successful candidates into key administrative and government positions across Tamil Nadu.

78 Candidates Appointed to TNPSC Group 1 Posts

The selected candidates have been appointed to several important posts in the State government. The appointments include 28 Deputy Collectors, seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 19 Assistant Commissioners of Commercial Taxes, 15 Assistant Directors of Rural Development, three District Employment Officers, and six Assistant Commissioners of Labour.

Chief Minister Vijay personally presented the appointment orders to the selected candidates at the Secretariat.

48 Candidates Receive Technical Services Appointment Orders

In addition to the Group 1 appointments, 48 candidates selected through the TNPSC Combined Technical Services Examination also received their appointment orders from the Chief Minister.

The appointments will strengthen staffing across various government departments and bring newly selected candidates into administrative and technical roles.

Minister for Human Resources Management D Sarathkumar and Minister for Environment and Forests VK Rajeev participated in the event.
