Are You Acting or Merely Reacting? - Morning Thought by J Sampath, Founder and CEO of JB Soft System

Are we truly acting from withinor merely reacting to everything around us?

Are we reacting to:

- A situation?
- Someone’s words?
- Someone’s actions?
- Their opinions about us?
- Their assumptions?
- Or even what we imagine they may be thinking?

When our actions are controlled by external events, we surrender our peace and personal power. We allow other people’s words, moods and assumptions to decide our direction.

Pause for a moment.

Connect with your core your values, your nature, your purpose and the person you genuinely want to be.

Then act from that place.

This does not mean ignoring people or refusing to learn from feedback. It means listening with awareness, understanding the situation and consciously choosing your response. Your actions must come from clarity not from anger, fear, pressure or the need to prove yourself.

Be especially careful not to react to other people’s assumptions. Their assumptions belong to their minds; they need not become the foundation for your actions.

When you remain connected to your core, you begin to find your natural flow. Decisions become clearer. Your energy is no longer wasted on unnecessary reactions.

You feel a greater energy supporting you because your thoughts, values and actions are aligned.

Do not let the outside world constantly decide what happens inside you.

Connect with your core.
Understand the situation.
Choose your response.
Act with clarity.

That is the way to live life to the hilt!
