TN Engineering Admissions 2026: Rank List and Counselling Schedule to Be Released Today

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 rank list and the engineering counselling schedule will be released today, offering clarity to lakhs of aspiring engineering students across the state.

Around 3 lakh students have applied for admission to BE and BTech courses under the government quota in engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu. The online verification of uploaded certificates and documents began on June 8.

The rank list was initially scheduled to be released on June 29, but the Higher Education Department postponed it after extending the certificate verification deadline. The extension was granted to support students affected by the NEET examination issues and the delay in CBSE Class 12 revaluation results.

As per the revised schedule, the TNEA 2026 rank list will be published on July 1, along with the complete counselling timetable. Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister Govi. Chezhiaan is expected to release the rank list at 11:00 AM at the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Anna University campus in Chennai.

Students who find any errors in the published rank list can submit their grievances from July 1 to July 5, 2026. They may visit the nearest Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Facilitation Centre (TFC) to rectify any discrepancies before the counselling process begins.
