Tamil Nadu Plus-2 Results 2026: Girls Outshine Boys Again; Erode Tops State with 98.87% Pass Rate
The Tamil Nadu Plus-2 examination results were released today at 9:30 AM, with an overall pass percentage of 95.20% recorded across the state.
Continuing the trend seen in previous years, female students outperformed male students in the examination results. The pass percentage among female students stood at 97%, while 93.19% of male students cleared the examination.
In total, around 4.61 lakh female students and 3.47 lakh male students successfully passed the Class 12 public examinations this year.
Among the districts, Erode secured the top position in the state with an impressive pass percentage of 98.87%. Sivaganga ranked second with 98.05%, while Kanyakumari claimed the third spot with a pass percentage of 97.63%.
Officials also announced that mark sheets for students will be issued from the 13th of this month. Students who did not clear the examination will be given an opportunity to appear for supplementary examinations, which are scheduled to be conducted shortly.
