TNPSC Group 1 Recruitment 2026: Online Application Begins Today for 26 Vacancies

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has started the online application process for the Group 1 Recruitment 2026 from June 30, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until July 29, 2026 through the official TNPSC portal.

According to TNPSC, the official notification was delayed due to a technical issue in its online application system. Candidates can now complete the application process and pay the examination fee using UPI and other online payment methods.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 26 vacancies in various prestigious posts, including Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner, District Registrar, and Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

The TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on September 6, 2026. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination, the schedule for which will be announced by TNPSC at a later date.

Interested applicants are advised to complete their online registration well before the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues. The TNPSC Group 1 examination is one of Tamil Nadu`s most competitive government recruitment exams, offering opportunities to secure high-ranking administrative positions in the state government.
