India's First Branded IT Park 'YOO Hub Trivandrum' to Come Up at Technopark, 5,000 Jobs Expected

Kerala is set to strengthen its position as a leading technology hub with the launch of YOO Hub Trivandrum, which is being billed as India`s first branded IT workspace. The ₹300-crore project will be developed at Technopark Phase III in Thiruvananthapuram by HiLITE Group in collaboration with global design brand YOO and International Workplace Group (IWG).

The foundation stone for the project was laid by Kerala`s Minister for IT and Industries, P.K. Kunhalikutty, who described the development as a major milestone in the state`s journey towards becoming a global destination for technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence.

According to the minister, the branded IT workspace reflects the confidence that international companies have in Kerala`s rapidly growing technology ecosystem. The project is expected to generate over 5,000 direct employment opportunities while giving a significant boost to the state`s digital economy.

Officials from the Department of Electronics and Information Technology said the government continues to focus on attracting private investments into the technology sector. They expressed confidence that projects such as YOO Hub Trivandrum would encourage more global companies and investors to establish operations in Kerala.

Technopark CEO Sandip Kumar said the project will add 5.37 lakh square feet of Grade A office space, helping meet the growing demand for premium IT infrastructure in the region.

HiLITE Group CEO Ajil Muhammed noted that Kerala has a highly skilled talent pool and that world-class office infrastructure is essential for attracting multinational corporations and Global Capability Centres (GCCs).

Spread across 1.88 acres, the project will feature a basement, ground floor, two parking levels, and 15 office floors. It is designed to accommodate multinational companies, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology firms, research institutions, startups, and emerging digital enterprises.

Once completed, YOO Hub Trivandrum is expected to become a landmark commercial development, further enhancing Technopark`s reputation as one of India`s leading IT destinations and supporting Kerala`s long-term vision of becoming a global technology and innovation hub.
