Tamil Nadu Weather: Moderate Rain Likely in 9 Districts Today and Tomorrow

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has forecast moderate rain in nine districts of Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow.

The districts likely to receive rain include Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Tiruchirappalli, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram. Parts of the Western Ghats may also experience moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds.

The Delta districts, Puducherry and Karaikal may also receive moderate rain with thunderstorms and strong winds in some areas.

From August 29 to 31, moderate rain is expected at isolated places in the Western Ghats, while light rain may occur in other parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
