Chennai - Thoothukudi Night Flight Service to Launch Soon; IndiGo Announces Evening Schedule
A new night flight service between Chennai and Thoothukudi is set to begin soon, improving travel convenience for passengers across Tamil Nadu.
The service will operate between Chennai International Airport and Thoothukudi Airport (Vagaikulam) and will be operated by IndiGo. The new night schedule is expected to commence from March 29, 2026.
Flight Timings
Chennai to Thoothukudi: 6:15 PM departure – 7:55 PM arrival
Thoothukudi to Chennai: 8:15 PM departure – 9:45 PM arrival
Currently, only daytime flights are available on this route, making same-day return travel difficult. The introduction of the night service will allow passengers to travel conveniently without staying overnight.
